When you
are thinking about the games of years past, do you think about the tabletop
hockey games that were seemingly everywhere? You could get these games with a
clear plastic bubbledome on it, or without, but the Stiga hockey table was
definitely the one to get. The reason that it was so popular was primarily
because of one simple factor – there were no dead spots on the board.
Many other
hockey games, and other games in general, had issues with dead spots on the
tabletop. This meant that there were points where no one could play the hockey
puck with one of their players, and the game had to be jostled or reset in
order to continue.
